Position Overview
ATLAS SP is seeking a Vice President of Mortgage Finance Operations who will lead daily operations and a team of operations professionals to provide an exceptional client experience in support of the mortgage warehouse business. The role involves developing talent, establishing streamlined processes, maintaining a robust control environment and partnering with business to implement new business strategies. This individual will work to rapidly implement innovative solutions to streamline decision making. The position will report directly to the Director of Mortgage Finance Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead team through day-to-day execution of warehousing operations including overseeing a team who supports the processing of transactions, reconcile balances, funding activities, client interactions, forecasting, etc.
• Attract, retain, coach and mentor a team of individuals
• Develop detailed reporting and metric outlining team performance against goals and highlight areas of opportunity
• Develop platform that provides exceptional support for clients and internal stakeholders
• Partner with business, operations and technology teams to develop and implement efficient processes
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and regulatory requirements
• Continuously review procedures and implement strong controls
• Collaborate with the business and development teams understanding our data and processes, identifying trends and patterns to help make business decisions.
• Participate in testing and validating system enhancements.
Required Qualification and Experience
• 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry including loan processing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively.
• Results oriented and driven.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
• Proven experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of ProMerit warehouse lending system (SitusAMC) or similar industry lending platforms are a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
