Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership: Own the vision and roadmap for one or more strategic mobile products, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with UX, engineering, data, marketing, and compliance teams to deliver seamless and compliant client experiences.
- Team enablement: Coach and guide product teams toward best practices, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Issue resolution: Lead resolution of production and implementation challenges, driving escalations when needed to maintain delivery momentum.
- Product development: Define and analyze market needs, develop detailed product features and requirements, and oversee implementation plans.
- User experience optimization: Apply qualitative and quantitative research methods to continuously enhance the user experience.
- Business planning: Contribute to ongoing business planning and prioritization efforts, ensuring product initiatives are well-integrated into broader strategic goals.
- Special projects: Support ad hoc initiatives and perform other duties as assigned to advance team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of related work experience, including 2+ years of product management experience, ideally in mobile or digital platforms.
- Investment acumen, with a solid understanding of Vanguard’s product offerings.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning; technical background or certifications (e.g., PSM I/II) preferred.
- Comfort with experimentation and iterative design.
