Job Responsibilities

  • Data Extraction & Migration
    • Perform advanced SQL extractions from multiple external and legacy systems.
    • Map, transform, and load data into Salesforce Advancement/Kindsight environments.
    • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated datasets through validation and reconciliation.
  • Salesforce & Advancement Expertise
    • Leverage 5+ years of Salesforce system experience to optimize migrations and integrations.
    • Apply deep knowledge of Advancement and Kindsight solutions to ensure alignment with institutional needs.
    • Provide technical guidance on Salesforce data models, configurations, and best practices.
  • Project Leadership & Delivery Management
    • Act as a Technical Delivery Manager: create project plans, define timelines, track deliverables, and manage risks.
    • Run discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and ongoing status meetings with stakeholders.
    • Document and communicate progress, ensuring alignment with client goals and milestones.
  • Collaboration & Platform Enhancements
    • Collaborate with various business and IT teams to ensure the Salesforce platform meets all functional and technical requirements.
    • Participate in the planning and development life cycle for platform enhancements, including testing and deployment.
  • Analysis & Problem-Solving
    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, gaps, and transformation needs.
    • Partner with business and technical teams to resolve migration challenges.
    • Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years with Salesforce systems
  • 5 years working with Advancement / Kindsight solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL expertise; ability to perform extractions, transformations, and validations at scale.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects, build detailed plans, and drive on-time delivery.
  • Consulting & Communication: Skilled in presenting, facilitating discovery workshops, and managing client relationships.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong data analysis skills with an eye for accuracy and process improvement.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong blend of technical depth and client-facing presence.
  • Ability to operate independently while guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for data-driven problem solving in the Advancement and Higher Education sector.
