Job Description SummaryAs the Microsoft 365 Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful management, security and compliance of our Microsoft 365 tenant. This role will be responsible for all aspects of Microsoft 365 Security and User Experience. Candidate should be highly skilled at scripting, automation and data analysis. Candidate will work across Information Security and Business teams to gather requirements and determine the best technical controls. Candidate must have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 components such as: Office 365, Intune, Windows, Defender Security Center, Purview, and Entra Conditional Access and resource permissions with Graph API.

Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:
  • Work with other business groups and IT teams to determine solution requirements and map these requirements to specific controls. 

  • Provide feedback to these teams on potential challenges and costs to meet requirements. 

  • Possess an in-depth technical understanding across the Microsoft 365 platform. 

  • Need to understand what features are included in which license bundles.  This role will be involved in M&A activities so understanding cross-tenant scenarios is important. 

  • Combine requirements + product knowledge to deliver elegant solutions to GE HealthCare. 

  • All solutions will go through a thorough review process from other teams and this role will need to explain critical decisions made around costs, security, privacy, and user experience.   

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent (STEM) with minimum of 5 years of experience in managing the deployment of Microsoft 365 features OR HS Diploma with 9 years experience OR Associates with 7 years related experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.  The ability to communicate technical explanations in easy-to-understand terms s critical to the role.

  • Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus.
     

Desired Technical Skills:
  • PowerShell or other scripting experience for automation. 

  • Graph API understanding

  • Knowledge of KQL is preferred

  • Intune Management of Windows and mobile devices

  • Knowledge of Purview

  • Knowledge of Defender

  • Solid understanding of core networking principles

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $114,400.00-$171,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
