The Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer will support the development of one of the following sub-teams within Environmental Controls Systems (ECS): Cabin Air Conditioning, Liquid Cooling, Air Distribution, Cabin Pressure Control, Fire Protection and Smoke Detection, Ice and Rain Protection, Air Quality, and Electrical. This role will be primarily focused on component/systems equipment management, where daily tasks will be interfacing with a component supplier and various Boeing support groups. In addition, the candidate should have experience in clear communication skills for reporting progress to a wide audience, the ability to develop a set of project goals and objectives, developing a project schedule and on time execution. Furthermore, they should have technical knowledge in an area comparable to: system controls, mechanical systems, systems modeling, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and/or experience with model correlation from flight test data to analysis tools.
