Role Summary 

As an MDR Threat Analyst Intern, you will support the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team in its effort to protect organizations against the most advanced threat actors in the world. You will expand your skillset through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to cyber threats as they occur in real time. You will collaborate with seasoned threat analysts to investigate, identify, and neutralize cyber threats within our customer base. You will also work with our technical training team to drive training and enablement-focused projects and programs for the MDR team. This is a full-time, paid internship for 10 weeks, beginning on June 2, 2025

What You Will Do

• Drive the development and execution of training on topics such as security operations policies, processes and procedures, threat identification/analysis, and incident response 
• Actively research emerging Indicators of Compromise/Attack, exploits and vulnerabilities with the intent of operationalizing findings to better protect our customers 
• Create technical adversarial attack simulations using lab resources with the goal of developing/growing analysts’ skill 
• Collaborate and work alongside current MDR analysts against threats that impact our customers 
• Ensure documentation is regularly updated to maintain the applicability and accuracy of course material 
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities through assessment of course feedback and performance evaluations 

What You Will Bring

• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts 
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with proven ability to think outside the box 
• Must thrive within a team environment as well as on an individual basis 
• Passion for all things related to information technology and cybersecurity 
• Natural curiosity and ability to learn new skills quickly 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written English 
• Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and understandable narratives  
• Possession of current technical certifications relating to the domain of cybersecurity is a plus  
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities and can adjust priorities on the fly 

The pay for this role is $30 per hour.
