Job Description

We’re looking for a talented teammate… 

We seek a highly motivated and analytical MBA Intern to work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team. This role is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in corporate strategy, business operations, and executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in documenting short-term and long-term strategic priorities, defining corresponding KPIs, and refining the overall business strategy. Additionally, this individual will partner with various executive leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives, requiring superior analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities. 

This hybrid role requires a weekly in-person meeting in the Austin or Phoenix Area. To be considered, the candidate must be in or able to easily travel to Austin or Phoenix for the summer OPT status not eligible for this role.

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to define, document, and refine the company’s strategic priorities and key initiatives.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure progress against strategic goals. 
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to align strategic initiatives with business objectives. 
  • Create executive presentations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations. 
  • Identify and propose process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Assist in strategic planning sessions, board meetings, and leadership discussions.

  • Currently pursuing an MBA from a top-tier program. 
  • An innately curious, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. 
  • Emotionally intelligent, with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • An excellent communicator (both written and verbal) who can craft compelling narratives. 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little direction. 

Additional Requirements 

  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (Early June through early August)
  • Based in the Austin or Phoenix Area
  • Comfortable with Travel (20%)

 

Compensation Range: 

$23 - $27 / hour 

Any offered rate is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
