Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Marketing Supervisor – Operations to support the execution and advancement of the Marketing Operations function by coordinating strategic initiatives, managing operational priorities, improving processes, and ensuring effective delivery across Marketing & Business Development. This role partners with Marketing Operations leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into actionable plans, scalable processes, and measurable outcomes. 


This position is open to Hybrid for the right candidate. 


A Day in the Life

The ideal candidate will translate Marketing Operations priorities into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables that support the firm’s Marketing and Business Development objectives. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Marketing, Business Development, Information Technology, and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective project execution, management of dependencies and risks, timely follow-up, and progress against established goals. Identify operational and execution barriers and recommend practical solutions to keep initiatives moving forward. Maintain accurate documentation related to marketing technology configurations, process maps, platform procedures, and departmental operating practices. Serve as a primary resource for internal marketing technology questions and routine support, developing user guides, training materials, and other resources to promote effective system adoption. Coordinate onboarding and refresher training for Marketing and Business Development users, monitor data quality within marketing systems, and support recurring reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data requests. Assist with approved AI-enabled workflows and productivity tools, and evaluate existing processes to identify and coordinate improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, scalability, and the effective use of technology across the firm.

We Know You

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with 7+ years of marketing team supervision experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing automation, CRM integrations, legal marketing systems, email marketing, website CMS platforms, and analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Advanced knowledge of artificial intelligence and its application to marketing operations is a plus. Strong project management, problem-solving, analytical, communication, training, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Business Development, Information Technology, and external vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and a strong commitment to data accuracy and operational efficiency are also required.
