This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 8 months. Working independently under limited supervision, this job develops and distributes promotional materials, while also interpreting and reporting market-related information to inform initiatives and identify areas of opportunity. This job also contributes to the development and implementation of marketing plans to ensure organizational marketing strategies and sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Drafts, compiles, and distributes promotional materials and determines ad placement.
- Develops reports on the business results of recently introduced or enhanced products and services and develops recommendations of modifications to improve products and services and/or marketing initiatives.
- Interprets analysis of market-related information and develops reports to communicate implications for marketing strategies and/or key products and services.
- Conducts additional qualitative or quantitative research as needed for market positioning, such as pricing, market assessment, or promotional and advertising research studies.
- Analyzing marketing data, interpreting it for brand impact and reporting to management on implications for key products and services.
- Develops relationships with related outside entities to maintain good public relations with customers.
- Communicates with existing and potential clients and suppliers to explore and document opportunities to increase sales and profitability for designated new products and services, enhancements and initiatives.
- Helps coach and delegate work to lower level team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Assist in the creation and implementation of automatable marketing materials and manage the process of updating existing materials (on a monthly, quarterly, annually, and/or as needed basis) for mutual fund, closed end fund, ETFs, CITs, UCITS, retail SMAs and institutional SMAs as needed. Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to liaise with Product Marketing team to obtain any product positioning or other necessary content elements
- Proofing of templated materials after data is in place
- Obtain Compliance and other internal approvals
- Work with Product Strategy Team on product changes and launches
- Work internally with Workflow | Production Manager to produce materials
- Communicate with Marketing, Sales, and Compliance as needed on the status of marketing materials and other related topics
- Work with Compliance to address FINRA comment letters
