Job Description

The position involves managing the writing, production and distribution of e-newsletters tailored and targeted for customers and sales partners. This role partners closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Legal/Compliance, and Creative teams to translate value-driven messages into engaging, customer‑focused stories that resonate. Above all, this candidate must have a passion for creative, original storytelling and enjoy multitasking.

Primary Duties

The ideal candidate is an excellent:

  • writer who can independently interview, research, and adapt content to audience personas with a balanced mix of key marketing messages weaved into the story.

  • content strategist that can set vision, conceptualize value-driven storytelling, adapt content to audience personas, and expertly weave in marketing key messages.

  • manager who can instill best practices, lead and inspire multiple editorial boards, juggle the production of multiple e-newsletters, and usher content through review and approval workflows.

  • editor with thorough knowledge of AP style who can take responsibility for accuracy, quality and alignment to legal and compliance requirements.

  • collaborator that works cross-functionally to set an editorial calendar aligned to product launches, sales training goals, and campaign and leadership initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results
Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a content writer or corporate communications specialist managing and writing editorial content.

  • Extensive experience writing for external audiences.

  • A commitment to deadlines and excellent time management.

  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to ethical, high-quality communications and creative storytelling.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $86,360.00 - $101,600.00
