About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing AI & Innovation Manager to help build the next generation of marketing capabilities at SOVRA through emerging technologies, automation, and agent-based workflows.

This role will develop and manage the strategies, processes, and AI workflows that support content creation, product marketing, competitive intelligence, market research, account intelligence, campaign development, sales enablement, and brand innovation.

This role sits at the center of one of our marketing team's key objectives: to make marketing at SOVRA a function driven by AI. The successful candidate will lead us toward that goal, helping marketing become an organization where AI is part of everyday work, while ensuring that all outputs maintain the trust, credibility, and expertise expected by public sector audiences.

What You'll Do

AI Strategy and Roadmap

  • Develop and execute SOVRA's AI roadmap for marketing.

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through AI and agentic workflows.

  • Evaluate emerging AI platforms and technologies.

  • Create standards and governance frameworks for AI use across marketing.

  • Serve as SOVRA's internal subject matter expert for marketing AI.

Agent Development and Automation

  • Design, build, and manage AI agents that support content marketing, product marketing, research and intelligence, demand generation, and sales enablement.

Brand Innovation

  • Lead experimentation with new forms of B2B and B2G marketing, including short form video, video generated with AI, interactive social content, executive thought leadership programs, and knowledge management.

Enablement Across Teams

  • Partner closely with departments across SOVRA, including product management, sales, customer success, and executive leadership.

What You'll Bring

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2G or B2B SaaS marketing, content marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or related fields.

  • 2+ years actively working with generative AI tools and workflows.

  • Demonstrated experience building workflows using automation tools and platforms.

  • Strong understanding of messaging, positioning, and strategies for bringing products to market.

  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.

  • Experience managing complex projects and initiatives that span multiple teams.

  • Hands-on experience working with Claude, ChatGPT and experience building automated workflows in n8n and Zapier.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLM platforms and building workflows with multiple agents.

  • Experience or familiarity with Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, HubSpot, and Airtable.

  • Experience in GovTech, public procurement, enterprise SaaS, or highly regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence, market research, and strategic planning.

  • Experience designing workflow automation and knowledge management systems.

What Success Looks Like

  • 90 days: you know our stack and our gaps, and your first agentic workflows are live in pilot with early adopters on the team.

  • 6 months: multiple workflows are tested, optimized, and in daily use; the team is measurably more AI-fluent and coming to you with ideas instead of waiting for rollouts.

  • 12 months: AI systems are scaled across demand generation, content, and operations; marketing runs faster and smarter, and the intelligence your systems produce is shaping strategy — including for sales.

Thank you for your interest in SOVRA. However, only selected candidates will be contacted.
