Position Overview
We're searching for a Marketing Director to join our Agency Marketing team in a hybrid location (1-2 days per week) from either our Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, or Toronto offices. The Marketing Director is a strategic, revenue-aligned role responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy for our Benefits and Financial Management business units. The ideal candidate partners extensively with business unit leadership - shaping the product narrative, refining the ICP, and building full-funnel marketing programs that drive pipeline quality, demand, and revenue performance.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $145,000 - $178,500 USD. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.

What You'll Do
- Own the Full-Funnel Go-To-Market Strategy: Lead end-to-end GTM planning for Benefits and Financial Management - starting with identifying where growth will come from. Define value propositions alongside product marketing, sharpen ICP and segmentation, and translate business goals into clear, actionable marketing plans with measurable outcomes.
- Build and Execute Full-Funnel Campaigns: Design integrated campaigns spanning awareness, demand creation, deal acceleration, and customer lifecycle adoption. Partner with the existing field team on execution while owning the strategy, messaging, and offer architecture that drives results.
- Partner Closely with Customers and Product: Gather customer insights through direct interactions - calls, events, and advisory sessions. Develop deep product fluency across both business units and use that expertise to create differentiated messaging that resonates with target buyers. Bring a strong sense of competitive dynamics to ensure campaigns stand apart in crowded markets.
- Drive Decision-Making with Data: Review funnel performance, conversion metrics, and campaign analytics to continuously refine strategy. Use data to validate or challenge assumptions and ensure the business is investing in what works.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Investigate and experiment with new channels, offers, and campaign approaches to expand reach and improve performance. Bring a point of view on what the market needs and advocate for it internally.
We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience may include:
- 7-10 years of experience in a marketing role with a proven track record of executing comprehensive transactional B2B/B2C marketing plans and running campaigns in support of organizational strategy; insurance software industry experience in the benefits and financial management space preferred
- Strong strategic instincts - able to identify growth opportunities, challenge assumptions, and influence executive-level decisions
- Track record of quickly developing deep product fluency
- Ability to design and build full-funnel campaigns from strategy through to execution, working effectively alongside field and channel teams
- Data-driven mindset with experience using funnel metrics and campaign analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment - entrepreneurial, experimental, and able to iterate quickly
