About Mosey

Mosey makes employment compliance a breeze so fast-growing companies can hire and operate anywhere—without the administrative burden.

What's so hard about hiring people in multiple locations anyway?

Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. Those requirements span HR, tax, accounting, and legal which is complicated and requires deep expertise. As a result, keeping up with the differences and the sheer volume of obligations makes hiring people in many locations expensive and painful.

About the role

You will be a key contributor to Mosey's marketing efforts, helping to execute campaigns and programs that drive customer acquisition and engagement. You will own specific marketing initiatives from planning through execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. This role offers significant growth opportunities as you develop expertise across multiple marketing channels and build the foundation for our expanding marketing function. We are looking for a hard-working, marketing savvy individual who is focused on outcomes and excellence. This is a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign execution and management. Create, launch, and manage both paid and organic marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimizations to improve results.

  • Performance measurement and reporting. Track and analyze marketing metrics weekly, building dashboards to visualize performance and inform strategic decisions.

  • Program implementation. Execute marketing programs and initiatives with guidance from management, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Build and manage automated workflows to 10x impact.

  • Content and creative coordination. Work with internal resources and external partners to schedule, produce, and deliver marketing content across various channels and formats, ensuring consistent brand voice and compelling messaging.

  • Event and webinar support. Provide day-of execution support for webinars, including technical setup, attendee management, and post-event follow-up activities.

  • Partner marketing execution. Communicate with marketing partners and stakeholders, helping to plan and execute joint initiatives.

  • Project planning and coordination. Plan and manage small to medium-sized marketing projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across teams.

  • Audience research and targeting. Develop deep understanding of target audiences and marketing channels to optimize campaign targeting and messaging effectiveness.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related field

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive marketing decisions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with campaign management across paid and organic channels

  • Project management experience with ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Nice-to-have skills and experience:

  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and dashboard creation in tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads

  • Experience with automation platforms (such as n8n) and CRM systems

  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and lead generation

  • Experience with webinar platforms and event management

  • Background in compliance, legal, or HR technology marketing

  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience

The hourly rate for this position is between $25 and $35 an hour, depending on experience.

Our operating principles:

Pursue knowledge

Lead with curiosity, reject bad explanations, and create objective knowledge with a tradition of conjecture and criticism.

Writing is thinking

Many seemingly good ideas don’t survive closer inspection when written down. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, it’s precisely why you should.

Exude warmth

Build a working environment that is welcoming and supportive. Others will want to gather around you.

Be ambitious

We can do more than we think with imagination and resolve. Solving important problems requires it.

Our benefits:

  • Competitive compensation with material equity ownership

  • Health insurance including medical, dental, and vision

  • Mosey pays 100% of your employee premium

  • 3 weeks vacation

  • 8 Paid Company Holidays

  • Paid Family Leave

  • Opportunity to join a diverse, passionate, and fun team at a pivotal time in the company’s lifecycle

  • Remote first (continental US & Canada)

We look forward to hearing from you!
