Responsibilities

  • As a Marketing Campaign Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the SolarWinds marketing team, supporting the growth of global demand for our Observability product line. This role focuses on the day-to-day execution and coordination of lead generation campaigns designed to expand the footprint of current SolarWinds customers.
  • The Marketing Campaign Specialist will apply their technical skills in campaign setup, performance tracking, and creative coordination to ensure a seamless journey from post-sale through renewal. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support cross-functional projects with product marketing, brand, and sales teams to keep campaign operations running smoothly.
  • Support the execution of campaign strategies and tactics based on defined business objectives.
  • Coordinate the rollout of global campaign plans and program mixes focused on customer retention and expansion.
  • Assist in the creation and deployment of campaign content, assets, and creative elements, ensuring they are mapped correctly to the buyer’s journey.
  • Build and launch campaigns within marketing automation and project management tools.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing data-driven insights to the broader team to help resolve tactical issues.
  • Maintain communication channels with regional marketing and sales teams to ensure they have the assets needed for field follow-up.
  • Update and optimize existing campaigns based on feedback and performance data.

Your Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in SaaS B2B marketing or a similar digital marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience executing marketing campaigns that contribute to lead generation and pipeline growth.
  • Strong coordination skills, with a history of supporting sales or customer success teams with marketing materials and campaign updates.
  • High level of comfort with marketing technology; you enjoy the "behind-the-scenes" work of setting up and launching programs.
  • The ability to pivot quickly when plans change while maintaining high quality in your deliverables.
  • Proven ability to communicate project status clearly to stakeholders and teammates.
  • A sharp eye for proofreading and ensuring all campaign links, tracking, and assets are error-free before launch.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and project management tools (like Asana) is required. Familiarity with 6Sense, Tableau, Outreach, or creative tools like Creatopy is a major plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and project management tools  Asana is required. 
  • Experience managing monthly and quarterly deliverables in a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across product, engineering, design, and operations.
  • Proven skill in building product collateral and turning ambiguous ideas into clear, turnkey deliverables.
  • Strong execution discipline, with high attention to detail and personal accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
  • Curiosity-driven mindset with a track record of thinking outside the box and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Comfort operating with 80%‑baked information, making sound decisions with limited data.
  • Thrives in fast-moving, high-change environments that require agility and rapid prioritization.
  • Ability to work with messy or incomplete data, extracting insights and driving clarity.
  • Strong understanding of tradeoffs, with the ability to align decisions to goals, capacity, and organizational priorities.
  • Skilled at capacity planning, flagging risks early, and re‑prioritizing work based on business impact.
