Vida Health is seeking a Marketing Automation Tech Specialist to build, optimize, and scale our customer engagement infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our members receive personalized, timely, and data-driven communications through Braze. You will collaborate closely with the Automation Manager, Director of Marketing, and cross-functional data and technical teams to inform the design and maintenance of data pipelines, custom attributes, and event structures that power lifecycle campaigns, behavioral triggers, and advanced segmentation in Braze.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing technology, data engineering, and automation strategy- and wants to directly impact the member experience at scale for a healthcare company.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage end-to-end Braze campaigns and Canvases across email, SMS, push, in-app messaging, webhooks, and content cards, including complex audience segmentation and experiment design.
  • Lead data integration and pipeline development by optimizing DBT and BigQuery data models, configuring custom attributes and events, and managing reliable real-time data syncing between the data stack and Braze.
  • Own data quality and integrity across the MarTech ecosystem, including regular maintenance, merging records, resolving data issues, and ensuring accuracy across campaign performance and reporting.
  • Drive analytics and reporting using Braze's native tools alongside BigQuery and SQL, delivering insights that inform lifecycle strategy and omnichannel campaign optimization.
  • Serve as a technical MarTech partner to member operations and data teams, helping architect a scalable, future-proof foundation for personalization, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned/needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.
  • 3-5+ years of experience operating at the intersection of marketing, data science, and technology.
  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience leveraging Braze to drive lifecycle campaigns.
  • Proven ability to write SQL scripts within BigQuery or similar cloud-based relational databases.
  • Understanding of Braze data models and logic principles.
  • Understanding of data querying and multivariate experiments.
  • Exposure to API workflows, data modeling, and full-funnel analytics.
  • A refined "sense of taste" for high-end member communications, balancing technical complexity with exceptional user experience.
  • Technical fluency in HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Preferred:

  • Braze Certified (Administrator or Marketer) strongly preferred.
  • Practical experience navigating and leveraging DBT data models to drive lifecycle triggers.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Looker data models to build and interpret marketing performance dashboards.
