The role / impact
As a Marketing Automation Specialist (Operations), you will play a pivotal role within the Customer Engagement team, focusing on building and delivering global and regional communications. You will be hands-on with the marketing automation tech stack, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to design, test, schedule, and deploy campaigns that reach users worldwide.
Beyond campaign execution, you will contribute significantly to efficiency initiatives that lift the delivery maturity of the wider team. This involves improving templates, documenting processes, and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows. Your work ensures that regional marketers are supported effectively, allowing the team to deliver high-quality, personalised content that helps small businesses thrive.
The team & how they connect
You will join the Customer Engagement team, a collaborative group dedicated to connecting small businesses with technology through impactful communication. Working globally, the team partners closely with Product Marketing, Data and Insights, and regional stakeholders to align on roadmaps and deliver consistent results.
Initially, the role will focus on
Utilising a tech stack that includes Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SQL to develop dynamic content.
Delivering regional newsletters, events, product updates, and cross-channel campaigns.
Standardising processes by contributing to reusable email templates, build patterns, and QA checklists.
Documenting builds, audiences, and workflows to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Here are some of the things we are looking for
You bring hands-on experience in email and marketing automation, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
A solid technical understanding of HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SQL allows you to build and troubleshoot dynamic content confidently.
Your approach includes a strong documentation mindset, ensuring processes and decisions are recorded to support team maturity.
Collaborating with diverse stakeholders comes naturally to you, managing expectations and delivering on briefs accurately.
You possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality assurance and compliance across all campaigns.
Understanding data ingestion and segmentation logic helps you manage audiences effectively based on business rules.
