About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Communication and Marketing Manager to lead all communications and marketing initiative across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. In this strategic role, you will serve as the key advisor on corporate communications - both external and internal - and customer marketing activities to the countries' Leadership team.
As part of the Marketing, Communication and Social & Corporate Responsibility team for Customer Unit West Europe (a 5-person team), you will work in close partnership with Sales, People, and Political Advocacy teams. You will advise, plan, execute, and drive media-facing and client-facing activities across multiple customer accounts (operators and enterprises), with the Netherlands as the priority market, alongside Belgium and Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities:• Lead Marketing, External and Internal Communications strategy and execution across all three markets• Act as strategic advisor to Country Managers and local Leadership Team on all Marketing & Communications topics• Partner with Central functions to activate and localize relevant activities• Drive media-facing activities, plan and execute media relations activations• Own, plan and manage client-facing activities and marketing initiatives from conception to delivery• Manage marketing budget and agency relationships• Ensure autonomy and initiatives in handling Marketing & Communications activations for the country
Required Qualifications• 10+ years of proven communications experience with strong BtoB media relations & communication expertise• University degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications from a recognized Business School or University• Native Dutch speaker with fluent English• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with country executives, sales teams, and cross-functional teams• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Creative thinking and innovative "can do" approach • Capability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with proactive problem-solving mindset
The role is located in Breda, in the Netherlands.
