The salary range for this role, based in North Carolina, is $92,160.00 to $115,200.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary

As Market Manager, Agave, you’ll lead the charge in driving performance for Pernod Ricard’s agave portfolio across multiple states. This role offers the opportunity to shape pricing strategies, forecast demand, and execute transformational initiatives while collaborating closely with distributor partners and internal teams. What you’ll do

Individual Responsibilities

  • Own total agave category Net Sales performance and execution across all channels in assigned markets.

  • Build brand presence through targeted sell-through activities, local promotions, and ROI-driven resource allocation.

  • Execute local-level agave category plans, including innovation launches and strategic initiatives.

  • Manage single barrel program sell-in and execution through retail and on-premise channels.

  • Train and motivate distributor sales teams to achieve flawless execution across trade channels.

  • Leverage data dashboards to track performance, identify gaps, and inform strategy.

  • Monitor retail pricing and recommend adjustments to capitalize on market opportunities.

Collaborative Responsibilities

  • Partner with state leads, Market Managers, and distributor teams to develop and execute local plans aligned with financial objectives and KPIs.

  • Contribute to annual operating plans (AOP) and influence market priorities and resource deployment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales tools, presentations, and market-level plans.

  • Support distributor and internal teams with training, education, and co-selling activities.

Performance & Reporting

  • Provide bi-weekly recaps and participate in team meetings to review strategy and performance.

  • Maintain consistent in-market presence to support key accounts and distributor teams.

  • Achieve or exceed all brand KPIs and financial targets, including Net Sales and distribution goals.

Required qualifications

  • 5–7 years of sales experience in wine, spirits, or consumer goods with proven success managing distributor relationships.

  • Strong ability to leverage data tools and dashboards for performance tracking and decision-making.

  • Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills across internal and external teams.

  • Flexibility to work in the field regularly, including evenings and weekends for events.
