GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Market Data Research Assistant's primary responsibility is the maintenance and update of various CRSP databases through manual and computerized update processes. Additional responsibilities include updating of the databases for historical research projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research data outliers as identified in update procedures and historical research.
2. Identify and utilize appropriate resource for the type of information required.
3. Organize and enter data related to update or historical research efficiently and accurately.
4. Run queries designed to identify data outliers and historical research candidates.
5. Collaborate with Managers, other Researchers, and Programming staff ensuring timely and accurate update cycles.
6. Coordinate sequence and timing of research with Project Leader.
7. Coordinate workload with other research staff to meet deadlines set by Project Leaders.
8. Clearly and effectively communicate with customers and/or users on requirements related to area of work.
9. Present effectively to superiors in areas of responsibility (i.e. progress reports).
10. Follow instructions with minimum of clarification and/or misunderstandings.
11. Recognize skills inventory and match with career goals.
12. Analyzes skills on an ongoing basis and meets identified needs
13. Attends and completes recommended training according to Center policy.

Salary Range = $30 - $36 per hour USD + Benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
