Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to join our Operations Leadership Team in Portland, Oregon. Positions are available for 1st and 2nd Shift, will be determined at the time of offer.
Join our BCA Operations Leadership Team in Portland, Oregon! We have two exciting roles: one on the Processing team focusing on Chemical Processing and Paint, and the other on the Machining Assembly team focused on Precision Boring and Machining, Aerospace Assembly.
Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience);

• 3+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Compliance and Manufacturing data
• 3+ years of experience using Quality Management System (QMS) and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
• 3+ years of Experience in reviewing engineering drawings and manufacturing plans
• 3+ years of experience with Chemical Processing and Paint
• 3+ years of Experience in Precision Boring and Machining
• 3+ years of Experience in Aerospace Assembly

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $126,000 - $154,000
