JOB SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer I supports production operations by improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role contributes to the development and implementation of manufacturing solutions across a variety of products while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and help resolve production issues, defects, and assembly challenges.
  • Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Utilize Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the selection, evaluation, and qualification of new equipment and technologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support implementation of corrective actions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 0-1 years of experience
Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, including Power BI, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
Work Style
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
