Employees within a 90-minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in-office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday).

Job Summary & Responsibilities
As part of the EBS Operations Transformation Strategy, we are consolidating Operations Functions for both Retirement & Wealth and Health & Benefits under the leadership of a Managing Director for each Operational function.
Consolidation of single point of oversight and leadership enables our ability to establish and maintain a unified mindset as we acquire and integrate new organizations into the Inspira family.
In this role, the Managing Director of Operations will need to develop an organizational structure, goals, and strategic plans that align and optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness that are clearly defined and measured.
Responsible for overall strategic direction and leadership of their business unit - R&W or H&B Operations
Defines strategic direction for function aligned to the company's overall values, mission and strategic priorities as defined by ELT for their functions.
Ensure achievement of short-term objectives while implementing strategies to achieve long term goals that generate value through revenue growth, improved client experience, and operational efficiencies to support continuous growth.
Stays aware of competitors, the market, expansion opportunities and new industry standards and development. Applies insights on external competitive landscape in all aspects of decision making
Manages division / functional unit's finances to achieve company financial goals
Influences company business development strategy, sales innovations and the overall profitability of the company
Formulates and oversees execution of plans to fix any problems when the company is not achieving its desired goals
Directs, leads, and evaluates employees' work and ensuring a healthy corporate culture
Managing Directors of Operations will need to develop and execute on strategies that drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and consistency that keep pace with Inspira's rapid growth and expansion. They will need to identify opportunities for simplifying workflows and eliminating waste that creates friction which negatively impacts the client experience. They will need to advance and champion the digitization of operations workflows while simultaneously adopting scalable talent strategies that keep pace with a rapidly growing business
Preferred Qualifications
Years of Experience: Responsible for overall strategic direction and leadership of their business unit - R&W or H&B Operations

Managing Directors of Operations will need to develop and execute on strategies that drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and consistency that keep pace with Inspira's rapid growth and expansion. They will need to identify opportunities for simplifying workflows and eliminating waste that creates friction which negatively impacts the client experience. They will need to advance and champion the digitization of operations workflows while simultaneously adopting scalable talent strategies that keep pace with a rapidly growing business . Degree: College Degree required, advanced degrees preferred . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities: The ideal candidate must have 15+ years of leadership experience in the Financial Services industry and or Health Care Industries, with a minimum of 10 years' experience leading operational divisions
They must have prior experience leading transformational change within Operations and Client Service with the ability to demonstrate growth and operational optimization
They must demonstrate foundational literacy/ competency of Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma principles and a demonstrated track record for leading enterprise change initiatives
They must have experience leading a P/L center of greater than $10m US
They must be able to demonstrate the to develop operational metrics and use data to drive strategy and execution of work
They must be able to develop 1-3 year strategic plans for their operational division with specific emphasis on operational transformation
They must be able to work independently without need for daily supervision.
They must have excellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration and facilitation.
The candidate will be able to demonstrate advanced capabilities with organization and process management
Prior experience with technology - specifically CRM and BPM solutions - is required
Compensation & Benefits
$225,000-$250,000 per year
