The Master Data team plays a critical role in providing and maintaining the fundamental master data set residing in SAP and Manufacturing systems to the Concord, NC site. The master data set includes Material Master, Bill of Materials, Recipes, Resources, Purchasing-Info Records and Warehousing data. The Supply Chain Master Data individual is responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the data by inputting and verifying of data into SAP (R/3 and APO), the Manufacturing Execution System (Pharmasuite), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and maintaining data accuracy through audits and Master Data changes. This individual will be responsible for managing all data additions and changes, per customer or subject matter expert requirements. They will work closely with multiple teams across the site to manage data change requests, solve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activities around Master Data. The position requires knowledge of manufacturing processes, understanding of the significance of accurate data management and demonstration of an excellent eye for detail. Knowledge and familiarization with the SAP system is required. The Master Data analyst is responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the data by inputting and verifying data into SAP, MES, and maintaining data accuracy through audits, and Master Data changes.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Executing key data creation, maintenance and data design for Master Data in SAP and associated systems.
- Creating Bills of Material, Recipes, purchasing info records, Purchasing and Planning/Scheduling parameters
- Creating and maintaining local formal Standard Operating Procedures and training materials
- Determining impact of local and/or global changes while ensuring global data consistence and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures. These changes could include:
- SAP Master Data maintenance changes; Interfaced system changes (e.g. PMX, etc.)
- Process changes driven by Technical Services / Manufacturing Sciences or Engineering
- Regulatory changes requiring data updates
- Supply changes driven my Production and/or Local Product Owners • Identifying and participating in or leading process improvement initiatives
- Leveraging appropriate tools / reports to track maintenance efforts and both data accuracy and completeness
- Participating in annual standard costing for Business Planning and driving the review of planning parameters
- Troubleshooting SAP execution problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions
- Investigating deviations and providing impact assessments for change management
- Contributing to global initiatives for Master Data Management, attending Power User forums to share best practices
- Maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountably for supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental Corporate and Site goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience
- SAP knowledge and work experience / Master Data experience in material master creation and maintenance
- Self-directed, pro-active, and able to work through ambiguity and drive solutions in a Startup environment

- Capability to prioritize and multi-task effectively and track details of multiple projects
- Ability to develop solutions where processes and procedures do not currently exist
- Excellent eye for detail and numerical skills
- Ability to work independently with little day-to-day direction

- Experience in a GMP/pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment

Additional Information:
- Normal workday: Monday through Friday
- May need to be available off shift to respond to operational issues as needed
- Some travel may be required

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$57,750 - $129,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
