The Manager will shape strategy and growth for Conversica's Sports & Entertainment Vertical, leading sales efforts and expanding market presence. They will collaborate across teams to drive customer success and oversee performance reporting.
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate leader to guide Conversica’s Sports & Entertainment Vertical. In this role, you’ll shape the strategy, growth, and success of a high-potential business segment—helping sports teams, leagues, and entertainment organizations unlock more value from our AI-powered solutions.
You’ll lead sales and customer success efforts across the vertical, collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand our market presence, and play a key role in defining how Conversica shows up in the sports and entertainment space.
This is a strategic, high-impact position for someone who thrives on building, leading, and inspiring teams while driving measurable business results.
Key Responsibilites
- Lead the Sports & Entertainment vertical strategy, setting direction and targets aligned with company goals.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to execute go-to-market plans and deliver customer success.
- Represent the vertical internally and externally—sharing customer insights, market trends, and partnership opportunities.
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to ensure sustainable growth.
- Guide Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to achieve revenue and retention targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and industry events to strengthen Conversica’s brand presence.
- Provide strategic input to Product and Engineering on vertical-specific enhancements.
- Build and develop a high-performing team and culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account management, or customer success roles.
- 5+ years of experience in the sports, entertainment, or media industries.
- Proven ability to lead teams or cross-functional initiatives that drive revenue and customer growth.
- Strong business acumen and executive presence, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Experience working with professional sports organizations, leagues, or entertainment brands.
- Background in scaling a new business line or vertical within a SaaS company (preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
