Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Sponsorship Consulting to work with our Fortune 500 clients and use your experience to manage strategic, integrated brand marketing and activation campaigns with our roster of clients.

You will lead a junior team of experienced marketers in developing, executing, and measuring performance of activation programs. Successful employees will approach unexpected challenges quickly and creatively.

You will report into the Director, Sponsorship Consulting

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of client partnerships

  • Manage planning through execution of multiple marketing campaigns and events from top to bottom, including identifying contractors, and supervising onsite personnel/brand ambassadors

  • Help develop creative ideas, undertaking research as requested and ensuring ideas are possible to implement within specific parameters and budget

  • Collaborate with senior management to build official partnerships, selecting the best available assets available to the client

  • Strategize with clients to ensure athlete relationships and contracts are managed and implemented

  • Contribute to project recaps, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the sponsorship/marketing industry

  • Frequent travel is required, including weekends and occasional holidays

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sponsorship consulting experience, including client management and strategic planning

  • 3+ years of client marketing experience, working on high-profile sponsorship programs involving the International Committee (IOC), National Committees (e.g., USOPC), or - related governing bodies and partners

  • Experience managing complex sponsorship programs across other major sports and entertainment platforms, with exposure to industries such as Financial Services and Technology

  • Understanding and working knowledge of full marketing and activation mix, including social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships, experiential, paid media, and retail or promotional tie-ins

  • Experience developing and presenting strategic sponsorship concepts

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Additional Information:

The annual salary range for this position is $59,000-$96,025. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
