The Opportunity 

At Flock, our ambition is to scale our business to beyond $1B in annual recurring revenue and beyond.  To do that will require a sales operations transformation to drive more efficient and potent operations capabilities at scale.  Underpinning that transformation is a business built over the past 7 years, grown organically and through acquisition.  

As Manager, Sales Strategy and Operations, you will be responsible for driving a core component of our sales operations transformation.  You will oversee key projects that impact our lead to order processes; the data and infrastructure supporting those key processes and putting a model in place to allow us to execute for the future.  


To start these are a number of initiatives which you will lead:

  • Lead global data integrity initiatives and support sales enablement.

  • Drive data efficiencies through policy and governance.

  • Implement data integrity rules and controls, automating record creation.

  • Oversee the creation of master data management practices.

  • Lead internal integration efforts.

  • Direct administrative staff to ensure data validity.

  • Lead global process standardization and improvement initiatives.

  • Create analytics and participate in compensation design.

  • Monitor CRM data compliance.

  • Collaborate with Revenue, Finance, and Product teams.

  • Manage strategic projects and organizational transformations.

  • Develop presentations and analytical reports for leadership.

  • Improve processes, such as lost deal tracking.

  • Generate reports and analyze sales data.

  • Partner with sales leadership to drive team productivity and effectiveness

  • Define sales team objectives and refine sales processes.

The Skillset 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or similar (MBA preferred).

  • 5-7+ years experience in Sales/RevOps, operating at increasingly more senior levels.

  • Ideal background comes from within B2B Cyber Security/SaaS/Data tech companies, with a focus on contract-based/SaaS deals.

  • Experience enhancing SFDC for improved data hygiene and leveraging funnel data in governance, forecasting, and other processes.

  • Track record of simplifying processes and deploying dashboards to optimise and automate processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.

  • Data-driven and analytical mindset and highly skilled in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to execute revenue growth strategies.

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Onboard, learn Flock’s value proposition, products, capabilities, and GTM model

  • Understand Flock’s sales processes, tools, underlying data structures

  • Begin to evaluate current gaps in data management

The First 60 Days 

  • Design Data Operations Model, including “ways of working” for the stakeholders that interact with your role across the Rev Ops CoEs and others across the business

  • Review existing tools and formulate initial prioritization framework

  • Final plan for scalable strategy for Account & Contact Data for both public and private

90 Days & Beyond 

  • At the end of 90 Days, you are rolling and both the RevOps leadership sees you as a strategic go to partner.  You have ensured that you understand Flock’s GTM and data structure, are familiar with the tools and KPIs we use, and have built a strong relationship with your extended RevOps team members, key sales leaders, and key cross functional stakeholders.

  • You understand our needs and are working to drive improvement projects actively.

The Interview Process 

We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture: transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way.

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are. 

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field. 

  3. The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day. 

  4. The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners. 

  5. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more. 

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $150,000 and $175,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
