Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Manager, R&W Sales Operations, will report to the Managing Director or Director on Sales Strategy & Enablement in the Retirement and Wealth Sales department. This role is responsible for building business in the national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channel, and specialty products areas for existing channels, broker led, and plan sponsor led deals. They are also responsible for providing guidance regarding our responses and the success of those responses in tandem with overall analysis regarding our capabilities. Their goal is to meet customer needs and help them make better decisions and about their retirement services provider.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for sales support to streamline entire sales process along with measure activities' results
• Perform as primary liaison to Product Development, Operations, IT, Legal and Marketing
• Secure resources as requested by Sales Team and Account Manager to assist sales process
• Manage internal/external communication regarding the RFP process
• Determine when updates are required for RFP activities
• Ensure tactics are aligned with revenue targets along with future growth targets
• Work to ensure that efforts are focused on growing and assisting in meeting sales goals and targets
• Support Sales, Marketing, and Account Management
• Manage Salesforce activities regarding RFP/RFI responses
• Track RFP success rates, analyze data and determine different approaches to ensure higher win rates
• Utilize Salesforce to report on success rates
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• 5-7 total years of experience, 2-5 years of experience in retirement or financial services
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
• Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
• An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
• Strong collaboration skills
• A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is required
Compensation & Benefits
$76,000-$90,000 per year
