Relativity is seeking a Manager, Revenue Accounting to join our growing team!

Job Description and Requirements

 

Responsibilities And Duties 

  • Review customer contracts and order forms to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606 

  • Drive monthly and quarterly revenue close, including journal entries, allocations, deferrals, reconciliations, and flux analyses for revenue, deferred revenue, and AR accounts 

  • Collaborate with Finance Operations and Billing teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely, accurate invoicing and reporting 

  • Assist in implementing process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to scale revenue accounting operations 

  • Oversee accurate commission calculations and reporting. 

  • Support external financial audits by preparing PBC schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. 

  • Lead and contribute key transformation initiatives on improving processes and system implementation projects 

 

 

Who You Are 

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role  

  • Deep technical knowledge of ASC 606 for Software and SaaS, including usage-based commit contracts  

  • Proficient in Revenue Systems (Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, Zuora Revenue)  

  • Robust analytical, organizational, and communication skills  

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and getting into the details when needed 

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$100,000 and $150,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
