We are currently seeking a Manager, Production Operations to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, Production Operations at ICON, you will oversee the day-to-day production activities, ensuring that operations run efficiently, meet quality standards, and align with the organization’s strategic goals. You will lead a team and collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing all aspects of system requirements, system development, validation activities, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time delivery of data to customers

  • Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of system application release schedules to meet organizational targets.

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards. Staff may include Technical Project Managers, Developers and Validation specialists.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Image Operations, Data Management, Quality and Clinical Database programming

  • Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and application regulatory guidelines such as ICH and 21 CFR Part 11

  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce rework, and maintain system application quality.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, operations management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, with significant experience in software development lifecycle

  • Proven experience in managing technical operations and technical teams, with a strong understanding of scheduling, planning and maintaining first time quality

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with experience in implementing process improvements and managing operational challenges.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to driving operational excellence and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
