The Manager of Product Operations oversees operational excellence in product management by managing AI workflows, developing team capabilities, and implementing data-driven insights. This role collaborates with product teams to enhance efficiency and optimize processes across multiple health and fitness software products.
Daxko builds the software that powers fitness, wellness, and community organizations—everything from member management and payments to digital engagement and analytics. From small studios to the largest associations, we help thousands of fitness businesses streamline operations, enhance member experiences, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
The Manager, Product Operations is responsible for driving product management operational excellence across Daxko’s portfolio of health, fitness, and wellness software products. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and owns the systems, processes, and AI-enabled workflows that allow our product teams to operate with greater speed, consistency, and insight. You will manage a small team of product operations professionals while working closely with product managers, engineering, and cross-functional partners across our nonprofit, club, and boutique market segments.
Critically, this role serves as the AI capability owner for the PM org - building, documenting, and scaling AI-enabled workflows that help a 38-person product team work smarter. You will personally design and maintain automations using tools like Claude, n8n, Magic Patterns, and Aha!, and translate that hands-on capability into playbooks, training, and shared resources that enable PMs to build and run their own workflows. We are looking for someone who combines builder instincts with the discipline to document and scale what they create, and the enterprise PM operations knowledge to raise the bar on how our teams work.
Why this role is exciting:
This is a rare opportunity to shape how a multi-product PM organization operates - and to do it with genuine AI-first thinking, not as a side function. You’ll work directly with the CPO and have significant influence over how a 38-person product team discovers, prioritizes, and ships across three distinct markets. You’ll own the tools, the workflows, and the enablement programs that make the org more capable over time. As product ops at Daxko continues to mature, this person will have the chance to build something durable - with the autonomy to bring new ideas, establish best practices, and set the standard for how AI elevates product management at scale.
What will you do?
- Manage and develop the product operations team, providing coaching and mentoring that drives individual growth and raises team performance
- Build and maintain AI-enabled workflows using Claude, n8n, Magic Patterns, and Aha!’s AI features that automate and accelerate recurring PM tasks - including feedback synthesis, research triage, release communications, roadmap updates, and rapid UX prototyping
- Lead PM org AI enablement by developing playbooks, running training sessions, and establishing shared prompt libraries and workflow templates that enable PMs to build and maintain their own automations
- Evaluate and govern AI tool adoption across the product toolchain - assess new capabilities, define usage standards, and ensure consistent and responsible use across teams
- Design and implement operational processes grounded in enterprise PM best practices, creating documented frameworks for discovery, roadmap governance, OKR alignment, and launch readiness that scale across our nonprofit, club, and boutique markets
- Implement data collection and reporting systems that give product teams actionable insights and track key metrics across the portfolio
- Manage the product toolchain, including Aha!, Pendo, Figma, Atlassian, and Power BI, ensuring optimal configuration, adoption, and ROI across teams
- Support go-to-market activities by coordinating launch processes, tracking performance metrics, and partnering with Product Marketing on operational execution
- Establish and optimize customer research and feedback collection processes, ensuring consistent Voice of Customer input across all product lines
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Product Operations Experience - Track record of success in B2B software product operations with measurable impact on team efficiency, process maturity, and product outcomes
- AI Practitioner and Enabler - Demonstrated ability to build production-grade AI workflows using no-code/low-code and LLM-based tools, translate that capability into documented and teachable processes, and drive adoption across non-technical colleagues; comfort with Claude, n8n, Magic Patterns, and AI-native SaaS features is expected, not aspirational
- Enterprise PM Operations Knowledge - Understanding of how mature product organizations operate at scale - including discovery frameworks, roadmap governance, OKR alignment, and cross-functional launch processes - with the ability to design systems and playbooks that uplevel team capability
- Data Analysis and Insights - Strong analytical skills with experience creating dashboards and actionable insights from product data that inform team and portfolio decisions
- Team Management - Experience managing and developing team members with demonstrated ability to build individual capabilities and sustain team performance
- Cross-functional Influence - Proven ability to champion new tools, processes, and AI capabilities across an organization by building buy-in at leadership levels, navigating IT governance and organizational approval processes, and serving as an effective change agent when driving adoption across diverse teams
- Execution Excellence - Strong bias for action with a track record of delivering results, solving problems pragmatically, and driving initiatives to completion in dynamic environments
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in B2B software product operations, product management, or related operational roles
- 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated success building and developing teams
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automated workflows using no-code/low-code platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, or equivalent) and LLM-based tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent), with examples of workflows deployed in a team environment
- Familiarity with enterprise PM practices including discovery methods, roadmap governance, and OKR frameworks
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in B2B software product operations or product management
- Experience with Aha!, Pendo, Figma, Atlassian, and Power BI
- Background in multi-product or portfolio management environments
- Experience in health, fitness, or wellness software markets
- Advanced SQL and data modeling capabilities
- Proven track record implementing and optimizing product operations tools and processes in high-growth environments
