As a Product Design Manager at StackAdapt, you’ll be responsible for the design vision and quality over a large area of the StackAdapt platform as well as for the coaching, mentoring, and career development of a team of designers.


From partnering with leaders in Product Management and Engineering, to designing solutions that meet (and exceed) key business needs, driving forward delivery against these key objectives, and improving operations and practices within the Product Design & UX Research team; there will be numerous opportunities for impact across the team, company, and industry.

What you'll be doing:

  • Grow and build a team of world-class product designers.
  • Mentor, empower, and coach product designers of all levels.
  • Help operate and iterate processes of discovering, validating, and building.
  • Collaborate on the roadmap and vision with key partners in product management and engineering.
  • Shape the design direction of our future products and experiences.
  • Over time, become an expert in the advertising and marketing technology spaces; understanding the competitive landscape, the evolving market needs, and how those things relate to StackAdapt's mission and vision.
  • Work with other leaders in the Product Design & UX Research team, to facilitate cross team work, user journey thinking, improve team operations, and more.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of experience and a passion for mentoring, coaching and leading a high performing design team.
  • A depth of experience in the Product Design domain, especially within very complex spaces.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of core UX competencies, including; Interaction Design, Usability Testing & Evaluations, Prototyping and Information architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially the ability to communicate UX and Design-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to understand the business context and Product challenges and manage uncertainty and apply appropriate solutions in response to differing business needs.
  • Strong visual design principles and a track record of creating attractive and intuitive interfaces.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to fast paced and changing environments.
