Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Portfolio Product team within the Boost Mobile Retail Wireless Technology organization is looking for an IT Manager to help guide the evolution of our Retail Wireless Systems. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a strong team of problem solvers that will help us achieve our development goals to enable the success of Boost Mobile. This team will achieve success by utilizing their analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to create targeted system analysis documentation for development teams as well as executives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead a high-performing Technical Product Team by establishing processes, tools, roles, and reporting aligned with IT and business goals.
  • Drive strategic product management for Boost Mobile's Digital Operator Platform, supporting business growth and innovation.
  • Inspire and mentor technical product managers, removing obstacles to enable successful delivery of objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to align product initiatives with company-wide goals.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management from ideation through launch and ongoing support, delivering data-driven recommendations to executives.
  • Foster an Agile, collaborative culture with regular coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • BS Degree in a computer science or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record in the delivery of large scale complex cross-functional projects
  • Understanding of software development and the SDLC process
  • Executive-level communication that encompasses roadmap reviews and presentations
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated management experience in an Agile development environment
  • 5+ years of combined product management, technical analysis, project management and/or other related experience that includes prior experience launching and/or supporting telecom related products and/or services

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage teams and projects spanning multiple geographic regions
  • The ability to determine what processes and best practices are most conducive to productivity, transparency and coordination
  • Self-starter and ability to figure out a complicated environment
  • Demonstrated cross-organizational communication across business and technical units
  • Working knowledge of solution architecture principles
  • Experience building and/or operating new products and services

Preferred Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Business or similar field from an accredited university
  • Experience with multiple telecom carriers including MVNOs
  • Experience with 5G network-specific product use cases that correspond to core / value-added services
  • Experience as a leader in both large corporate and startup environments the technical aspects of each value stream, encompassing growth, billing & payments, value-added services, existing user management and platform evolution, spanning across our indirect stores, national retail, communications website and app

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $130,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
