Role Summary

As the Manager of Performance Strategy at tvScientific, you’ll lead a high-performing team focused on driving strong campaign results and scaling success across our CTV advertising platform. This role is focused on driving advertiser performance by applying our latest optimization strategies and leveraging machine learning and measurement insights to deliver results.

You’ll shape the optimization strategy, guide your team through challenges, and connect performance data with real business outcomes. As a senior voice within the Customer Success org, you’ll bring together learnings from our Product, Data Science, and Commercial teams to inform and inspire better performance at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Performance Strategists—supporting both their growth and impact.
  • Define and evolve optimization strategies to ensure they’re scalable, consistent, and effective across all accounts.
  • Act as a senior-level subject matter expert for internal and external partners on performance challenges and strategy.
  • Manage campaign escalations with urgency and precision—ensuring solutions are fast, clear, and sustainable.
  • Convert data science and product insights into clear guidance for our client-facing teams.
  • Build a culture of testing and learning—encouraging innovation, curiosity, and data-driven iteration.
  • Set and monitor KPIs across your team’s portfolio, tracking trends, surfacing learnings, and celebrating wins.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Account Management, and Data Science to align strategies and support go-to-market efforts.
  • Partner on key reporting moments—like QBRs, performance deep dives, and executive briefings.
  • Identify and advocate for process and tool improvements that make our optimization work smarter, faster, and more impactful.

You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, media strategy, or analytics, including 3+ years leading people.
  • A strong grasp of CTV, programmatic buying, or digital performance ecosystems.
  • Proven success building and leading high-impact strategy teams in fast-paced, data-rich environments.
  • The ability to translate complex, technical insights into practical strategies for business stakeholders.
  • Strong storytelling and analytical skills—able to tie data to business outcomes.
  • Experience working across teams in matrixed or collaborative orgs.
  • Comfortable operating independently with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for bringing people along.
