The Manager, Operations Finance manages a small team of analysts within the Analytical Services Division (ASD) who provide analysis and reporting on commercial contracts and financial support to internal operations. Ensures project financials are accurately supervised and handled in pursuit of maximizing project profitability and cash flow.
This is a remote position for candidates located in the United States. Candidates located in EST timezone, Wilmington (NC), Raleigh (NC), or Highland Heights (KY) are preferred.
Essential Functions
- Work cross-functionally with Project Management (PM), Operations Finance, and Commercial Finance to evaluate current contact-modification and change notification form (CNF) processes
- Support implementation of identified process improvement areas to increase efficiency of contract modification process, which could include automations, workflows, dashboards, etc.
- Assist in overall budget monitoring including supporting escalations to ensure contractual coverage for revenue recognition purposes
- Assist in creation of standard service offerings for client reporting, project monitoring, and PM support
- Position will not initially have direct reports, but potential future responsibilities could include leading staff, which may involve interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or any related course
- with certification/license is an advantage
Experience
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3 to 5 years) or equivalent and relevant combination of education, training, & experience.
- 1+ year of leadership responsibility is an advantage

Salary Transparency
This is a salaried role that will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Compensation will be initially discussed during the screening period, with actual compensation confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
