The Manager, Operations Excellence will be responsible for effective and efficient execution of our most critical cross-functional activities. Responsible for: 1) Leading cross-functional operationalization of Claire’s most pressing initiatives, 2) Leading global promotional execution and support and 3) Approving purchase orders for inventory flows
This role requires close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders in the business, including the ELT, and a highly detail-oriented project management capability to ensure the entire organization remains on-track on its most important initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the Claire’s transformation. It is a critical role in the organization, with very high impact across the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare all materials for our weekly Operations Excellence (OpEx) meetings, including agendas, supporting materials and project trackers
- Drive alignment on key decisions to ensure delivery
- Syndicate and manage next steps from OpEx meetings
- Support cross-functional teams in problem solving to ensure we are executing our priorities in the most efficient and effective way; offering support to our functional leaders as needed
- Ensure cross-functional alignment on key decisions
- Continuously identify opportunities across the business to improve efficiency
- Support Value Creation Office with execution of cross-functional initiatives
Lead Promo Execution
- Manage Associate responsible for systemic activation of all promotions
- Ensure alignment on promotional calendar between Planning, Strategy and Analytics
- Lead weekly Promo & Testing meetings, ensuring proper input from CFTs
- Syndicate next steps from meetings and ensure completion, providing analytical support on decision making as needed
- Be responsible for accurate execution of global promotions
Approve Purchase Orders
- Ensure execution of critical purchase orders to ensure inventory flows into the business
- Manage weekly reporting of PO execution to syndicate with leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 5-7 years of professional experience (can be less if experience is strong)
- 5+ years of experience working in in a Retail Planning or Operations role preferred, preferably Merchandise Planning, Project Management, or Ops
- Distinctive project management capabilities and attention to detail
- Management experience preferred
- Self-starter with high levels of intellectual curiosity
- Distinctive communication skills with senior executives
- Impact oriented mindset; vocal problem-solving partner with a drive to outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
- Strong analytical toolkit with foundational understanding of Retail Math and P&L; ability to translate analytics insights into business actions
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation Range: $95,680.00 - $128,960.00

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
