This is a manager level sales role within CG’s sales organization leading a partner/customer relationship recognized as a strategic account (a “national account).  Reporting to the Director of National Accounts, this role is expected to (i) provide cross-functional leadership under the guidance of to the Director of National Accounts on performance of a named national account across the full portfolio of the Chamberlain Group’s products and solutions; discover and address customer needs; generate and develop new business opportunities in line with CG’s strategic goals (ii) With direction from the Director of National accounts, define and document the strategic account plan for the account that clearly spells out, by product, solution, and strategic initiative, the growth strategies required to meet or exceed annual revenue, unit, and initiative targets; Regularly review progress against account plans with customer and internally and offer recommendations to the Director of National Accounts for adjustments where needed to achieve annual goals and (iii) Ensure achievement of sales goals and targets; ensure broader organization alignment and understanding of business plans and lead required efforts to improve performance; manage key relationships and ensure proper executive alignment between CG and account. Requires 6+ years of large account management experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the strategic account plan for the account that clearly spells out, by product, solution, and strategic initiative, the growth strategies required to meet or exceed annual revenue, unit, and initiative targets

  • Ensure achievement of sales goals and targets; align across broader organization, understand if business plans, and lead required efforts to improve performance; manage key relationships and ensure proper executive alignment between Chamberlain Group and account

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast data, account plans, market share, activity and meeting in Salesforce (CRM) to log meetings, activities, and pipeline opportunities Execute solution-based sales strategies. Review research and market insight as leverage

  • Forecast demand and budget to support joint business planning with the customer; identify logistical synergies including an up-to-date and accurate forecast for account at both unit volume and dollar value levels including both orders and sales

  • Collaborate across functions to optimize pipeline development and forecasting

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, customer sell-thru data, and competitive positioning to drive strategic decision-making and market share growth; Improve sales performance of current product and service portfolio; collaborate with product management and Go-To-Market to assist with customized solutions and future product enhancements based on customer feedback

  • Represent LiftMaster at industry trade shows, regional meetings, and customer events to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master's of Business Administration preferred

  • 6+years of large account management experience

  • Experience with multi-faceted, large volume accounts and an understanding of industry competitors

  • Business financial analysis capabilities

  • Able to travel up to  70% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license

The pay range for this position is $112,791.00 - $185,820.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
