About the role

As Funding Manager, you will lead the Funding Department and drive process improvements that directly impact our customers’ home-buying journeys. Your leadership will ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant funding operations, while fostering strong relationships across teams and with our warehouse banking partners.

You Will Get To
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Funding Team to achieve operational excellence.

  • Oversee daily funding operations and ensure the timely, accurate completion of all loan fundings.

  • Review and approve closing documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.

  • Coordinate wire funding and post-closing activities with internal teams and external partners.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and investor guidelines (e.g., TRID, RESPA, TILA, FHA, VA, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac).

  • Drive process improvements and maintain quality control standards for funding and closing procedures.

  • Update and maintain funding policies, procedures, and training materials.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for funding escalations and issue resolution.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $87,400.00 - $139,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience, including at least 2 years in a funding management role.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, closing processes, and compliance regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA, FHA, VA, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac)
  • Experience with Encompass (LOS) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing timelines.
