Job Summary:
The Manager, Marketing Communications develops, coordinates and tracks communication strategies and deliverables to support both required and enhanced programs.
Essential Functions:
- Manage member or provider communications team
- Provide direction with regard to marketing and communications activities needed to promote programs and initiatives
- Monitor department request queue and assign work to direct reports to ensure product deliverables are created and delivered on time and on budget Manage budget tracking and monitoring
- Oversee the implementation of messaging, content and design of materials/information for members and providers
- Collaborate with market, product, business development, enterprise project management and other functional teams to ensure communication deliverables are met
- Lead gathering customer data insights and leverage data to evaluate content strategy and management Incorporate research activities needed to assist in the development and evaluation of marketing programs
- Work with external vendors as needed to support programs
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements pertaining to programs and products
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of team processes, manuals and guides, and corporate policies and procedures
- Stay on top of trends in the marketing communication profession
- Coordinate cross-functionally within the organization to ensure support and engagement of communication deliverables
- Hire, train, coach, provide leadership and develop staff including performance management and disciplinary actions
- Stay on top of trends, competitive information, and campaign tracking to help inform decisions about communication plans and content development
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related business field or equivalent years of relevant work experience, is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of marketing, communication, advertising, or project management experience is required
- Management/supervisory experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a health care or managed care setting is preferred

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business
Compensation Range:
$81,400.00 - $130,200.00
CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
