We are seeking an experienced Market Segmentation Manager to lead the strategy, execution and delivery of market insights that inform critical business decisions.  This position will power a data informed approach to market segmentation, new customer targeting, customer expansion opportunities and campaign measurement. With a keen eye and meticulous attention to detail, the role will support C&W Services’ expansion into new markets as well as its relentless focus on driving move value for its existing clients. The role will oversee a growing team of overseas market researchers, ensuring smooth global collaboration, high-quality output, and continuous capability development.  

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and cross-cultural leadership experience. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategy to translate data into compelling stories that drive action.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of 3-5 market researchers based out of our shared service center in India.
  • Establish clear goals, workflows and quality standards across regions and time zones.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement
  • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation across projects

Market Insights & Strategy Execution

  • Build and own the market research roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Define subsets of the total addressable market where C&W Services has a high likelihood of winning
  • Work with the Operations to identify opportunities for expansion within our existing base of clients
  • Support Marketing with audience definition and list operations for outbound marketing campaigns that deliver against revenue-driving goals
  • Work with the Marketing team to analyze and report on campaign results and user behavior to identify opportunities to improve targeting and engagement

Insights Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to the Growth team backed by data. 
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
  • Partner with the Technology team on predictive analytics, segmentation and modeling
  • Collaborate with the Solutions team to align target markets with a solutions-view on feasibility with a goal of helping the team identify opportunities for new or enhanced solutions and services
  • Contribute to ideation process with strategic insights, supporting the development of CRM tactics and revenue driving opportunities

Operational Excellence

  • Standardize research processes, data management practices, and documentation
  • Implement best practices for research methodology, project management, and quality control. 
  • Ensure efficient communication and handoffs between U.S. stakeholders and the India-based team.

Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • 4+ years of demonstrated success overseeing a team in a market research / analytics role
  • Proven experience leading global or offshore research teams
  • Strong expertise in primary and secondary research methods
  • Analytically minded strategic thinker who can proactively identify opportunities for growth
  • Commitment to interpersonal effectiveness
  • Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited time frame and to establish trust and maintain a collaborative spirit working cross-functionally in the organization
  • Champion diversity and creates an environment of inclusion
  • Possesses a growth mindset and works with positive intent
  • Promotes continuous improvement, embraces change and is a change agent

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Python and SQL; HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with research tools and platform (e.g. Qualtrics, SPSS, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience in B2B, enterprise or real estate markets
  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, statistics or a related field
  • Background in building or scaling research operations

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 110,500.00 - $130,000.00
