- Lead the automation transformation roadmap from concept through scaled deployment
- Design and optimize end-to-end workflows across sample receipt, preparation, analysis, data capture, review, and reporting
- Manage change across scientists, Quality Control, and operations by addressing skill gaps, role evolution, and adoption needs
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of automation engineers, scientists, and QC documentation specialists to deliver measurable results
- Define and prioritize the automation product backlog, including requirements, delivery sequencing, and user adoption
- Establish effective operating rhythms such as sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and release reviews where appropriate
- Partner with Quality to implement quality-by-design, validation strategies, change control, and inspection readiness
- Drive adoption through training, playbooks, ownership models, and clear exception-handling processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years in laboratory operations, lab transformation, automation programs, or digital lab systems.
- Experience implementing lab automation and/or digital lab platforms, including LIMS, ELN, and instrument integration
- Familiarity with validation approaches and regulated laboratory environments, including risk-based validation, CSV, 21 CFR Part 11 concepts, data integrity, and audit trails
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Strong leadership capability with experience guiding cross-functional technical teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills across scientists, engineers, Quality, IT, and leadership
- Ability to lead change effectively, resolve resistance through engagement, and build adoption into solutions from day one
- Lean and agile operational leadership in technical or regulated environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows such as automated review, anomaly detection, and report drafting

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $80,200.00 - $167,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
