Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations, Data Centers & US GovernmentJob Summary
The IT Infrastructure Operations Manager will lead the Data Center (IMDC) and US Government IT infrastructure engineering, and operations teams. This role will be a player-coach, both leading a team of systems engineers and administrators and rolling-up their sleeves directly as needed. The Manager will be responsible for driving and managing world class capabilities, standardization, system performance, uptime, compliance, and cost effectiveness. This includes overseeing CapEx and OpEx budgets, tactical and strategic prioritization, and people development while reporting status to leadership teams. The candidate will enjoy collaborating with other teams and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, business critical systems environment.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:● Global operational support of all systems to meet and exceed SLAs for internal and external customers (including meeting information security requirements and standards) 
● Manage multiple simultaneous, on-going IT-related projects within tight deadlines
● Develop and implement operational process, automation, rationalization, and best practices that drive agile customer-focused results and continued cost improvement
● Manage hardware and software procurement, vendor and maintenance agreements, software licensing compliance, hardware and software inventory, and other financial management activities 
● Work across organizations to drive priorities, and meet customer deliverables 
● Tight collaboration with Information Security teams to drive operational security
● Take a holistic view of IMDC and US Government IT across teams and functions to establish and execute the best structure, architecture, and approach for standardization, scalability, and performance of the systems, processes, and applications landscape
● Implement improved tooling, technologies, automation, KPIs, and processes
Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
● Minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience or relevant business and virtual team leadership
● Minimum of ten (10) years of technology experience in a 24x7, business critical environment
● Bachelor’s degree with technical certifications preferred
● Strong technical skills across compute, storage, network, software, and information security
● Technical proficiency in various virtualization, operating systems, automation tools, endpoint protection and management tools, monitoring systems, information security, cloud technologies, and process engineering
● Understanding of operational management frameworks: ITIL, Agile, Kanban etc.
● Strong financial management (including budgeting and business case development), hardware and software asset and licensing management, and vendor management skills
● Strong program and project management capabilities
● Proven track record of continuous improvement and root cause analysis resulting in improved services
● Customer service orientated, interacting with different teams and lines of business to solve problems
● Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
● Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
● Technical proficiency in architecture, systems design, and systems integration
● Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
● U.S. Citizenship residing on U.S. Soil - will be required to pass Federal clearance and eligibility for US Government, FedRamp & IRS Security clearances required
