As a function in Pfizer Global Commercial Analytics (GCA), Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) plays a critical role to enable Pfizer's commercial brand strategy. This team functions as internal consultants and brand strategists that partner with commercial and cross-functional leaders, activating data driven problem solving in a way that the business can execute to drive impact and unlock value.
The International Performance Reporting Manager is accountable for delivering performance tracking and reporting solutions for the International Commercial business. The role will work with business stakeholders, International IIS teams, and other cross-functional partners supporting efforts to centralize and standardize the international reporting eco-system and help implement industry best practices in performance reporting and insights generation.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join IIS colleagues worldwide that are delivering high quality analytics, insights and business acumen through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities, and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role definition and key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Reporting Solution Development and Execution

  • Support the building and standardization of commercial reporting eco-system through the development and execution of quality reporting solutions
  • Identify business stakeholder data and reporting needs and manage the development of solutions to address those needs
  • Gather and document requirements and work cross-functionally with both back-end and front-end product designers to ensure delivery of effective and efficient solutions
  • Frame, investigate and answer key performance questions, including development and execution of ad hoc solutions as needed


Collaboration with Other Teams

  • Partner with International IIS teams to understand critical reporting and insight needs and opportunities, ensuring cohesive activities across business stakeholders
  • Partner with other analytic and operational functions to understand and incorporate all available data sources, including novel sources
  • Ensure contextual understanding of data sources
  • Work with local IIS to identify opportunities to streamline and simplify the broader data and reporting eco-system
  • Actively advance reporting and insights capabilities through knowledge and expertise sharing


QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline such as engineering, computer science, statistics, finance or related fields; Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience with a preference for exposure to life sciences particularly the pharmaceutical industry; pharma commercial/marketing, business analytics, finance experience is a plus


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including experience overseeing complex, cross-functional projects and ensuring quality, on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with business intelligence, analytics, reporting and data transformation
  • Familiarity with data architecture, pipeline optimization, data warehousing, ETL scripting, etc.
  • Programming experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or similar; experience with Dataiku/DSS highly desirable
  • Data visualization capabilities and designing automated reporting solutions using reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence, a plus
