With over 30,000 customers, including a third of Fortune 500 companies, Tempo is trusted by organizations across the globe to make their workflows work better.

We create a suite of integrated solutions for time management, resource planning, budget management, roadmapping, program management, reporting and more. We create the tech that enables the modern team to deliver – for every step from first vision to value.

Since our beginning in 2007 as a project to make a time-tracking tool to help a client – Tempo has expanded to become the #1 time management add-on for Jira, and we have developed and acquired a multitude of tools to become one of the most trusted names in the Atlassian ecosystem.

We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.

About the role:

Tempo is expanding beyond an Atlassian-first product strategy to support customers operating across multiple work management platforms, including Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and Asana. As our product portfolio and delivery complexity grow, Tempo must establish a scalable, consistent implementation methodology that enables predictable, high-quality outcomes—primarily through partners.

The Manager of Implementation Methodology is responsible for designing, standardizing, and operationalizing Tempo’s implementation and onboarding frameworks for this multi-platform environment. This role defines how implementations are scoped, planned, delivered, and governed, ensuring partners can implement Tempo solutions effectively and independently over time.

Initially, this role will be hands-on in validating the methodology through real customer delivery. Long term, the focus shifts to ongoing improvement and enabling partners to deliver consistently with minimal reliance on Tempo resources

What you’ll do:

Implementation Methodology

  • Work in partnership with Product Management, Support, CSM, Marketing to understand product functionality, value and setup processes

  • Design end-to-end implementation playbooks for Tempo’s multi-platform products

  • Define delivery phases, milestones, and governance standards
Establish project management rigor across implementations, including:

    • Scope definition and change control

    • Dependency and risk management
      Timeline and milestone accountability

  • Define standard and custom implementation paths for varying customer complexity

Partner-Ready Delivery

  • Translate internal delivery practices into partner-ready execution kits

  • Create and maintain:

    • Discovery and scoping templates

    • SOW and effort estimation guidelines

    • Project plans and customer-facing delivery artifacts

  • Ensure materials reduce ambiguity while allowing delivery flexibility

Partner Enablement

  • Enable partners on how to run a Tempo implementation, not just configure the product

  • Develop methodology training, delivery standards, and readiness criteria

  • Support train-the-trainer and certification-style enablement programs

Continuous Improvement

  • Gather and analyze feedback from implementations and partners

  • Identify delivery bottlenecks, scope creep patterns, and standardization opportunities

  • Refine methodology based on product evolution and real-world delivery insights

Who you are:

  • 5–7+ years in professional services, implementation, consulting, or solutions architecture

  • Experience building or formalizing implementation or delivery methodologies

  • Strong project or program management discipline

  • Experience enabling or governing partner-led delivery models

  • Comfortable operating as a hands-on IC in evolving environments

  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex systems into clear delivery guidance
