Position Summary

As the Finance Manager for MinuteClinic, you will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and play a key role in managing financial operations and strategic planning for the business. This position is responsible for overseeing the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for MinuteClinic SG&A, as well as managing month-end close activities and expense-side P&L forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for SG&A expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage month-end close activities, including preparation of detailed variance analyses comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits accounting for MinuteClinic, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to monitor and evaluate payroll-related metrics and trends.
  • Support the expanding Primary Care business by forecasting expenses and labor hours, and providing insights to drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners to understand drivers of financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Finance experience.
  • Proven analytical experience using Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a natural curiosity for uncovering insights.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in financial planning & analysis, particularly in healthcare or service-oriented industries.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
