About the role:
The H2R HCM Manager is a people first leader responsible for leading and developing a global Hire to Retire team while remaining hands-on with configuration, solution design, and complex build activities. This role will deliver continuous value that directly advances our Workday and people systems experiences and brings a global and sustainable approach to how we handle and interpret our employee data. You can help in establishing critical groundwork for long-term change and best practice approaches as we move our organization forward.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and mentor global, remote teams with a focus on coaching, succession planning, and people development.
- Establish governance frameworks, design standards, and KPIs to elevate platform maturity and delivery quality across the Workday ecosystem.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Workday configuration and integration engineers, providing career guidance and performance management
- Lead and refine user story discussions to align with H2R features and value stream objectives so they are prioritized and have clear acceptance criteria
- Accountability over the team’s planning on scope, dependencies, and capacity to properly prioritize roadmaps and backlog refinements
- Own and continuously refine the team level backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, testable and aligned to H2R features
- Maintain the long-term integrity of the H2R solutions (primarily Workday) and drive platform modernization efforts, while being flexible and nimble to the business requirements
- Collaborating with internal customers to define deployment expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction and map opportunities to improve workflows
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to incorporate new functionality and emerging AI capabilities to enhance the user experience and drive operational efficiency, ensuring we keep a pulse on the latest enhancements to benefit our organization
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity by creating and implementing data maintenance processes and audits
- Develop and maintain work instructions and job aids while creating a streamlined, efficient and self-service approach to the organization’s reporting requirements
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption
- Knowledge of HR Data Privacy and ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and internal governance standards
What we'll want you to have:
- 10yrs experience in HCM systems, preferable in Workday
- 5yrs+ people management experience, with a strong leadership presence and proven track record of building, leading, and inspiring global technical teams
- The ability to lead and build in the system, along with a forward-looking mentality to adopt emerging AI capabilities and stay abreast of current trends and practices
- Experience identifying opportunities to improve flow and reduce friction while driving maximum value
- Excellent analytical capabilities, conceptual thinker with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages, impactful visuals and actionable plans
- Ability to deliver work which meets all minimum standards of quality, security and operability.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, Root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills and ability to effectively organize and communicate
- Highly collaborative and adaptable mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and changing priorities
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

The starting base pay is $117,200.00 to $157,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.Benefits Include:
