It is an exciting time to be part of Choreo! We are expanding our Marketing team and seeking a Manager of CPA Channel Marketing. 

This is a new role at Choreo, a registered investment advisor founded at the intersection of tax and wealth. We partner and engage in reciprocal referral relationships with individual CPAs and accounting firms to provide wealth management services to their clients. The introduction of this role demonstrates our foundational commitment to serving our CPA partners and providing them with meaningful added value. 

The CPA Channel Marketing Manager is a strategic marketing role that will be responsible for furthering advisor growth through CPA partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B marketing to the CPA and tax professional community, financial services marketing, and financial advisor marketing. The successful candidate will have a solid track record of developing strategies, campaigns, programs and content to open doors within and drive referrals to advisors  This role will require creative, nimble and action-oriented thinking, strong collaborative skills, and an ability to plan strategically and scalably as well as implement tactically. As CPA Channel Marketing Manager, you’ll focus on developing and executing CPA partner program marketing strategies and content, CPA lead gen and nurture campaigns, partner events, and other marketing strategies designed to expand Choreo’s vision to serve as the preferred wealth partner to the tax professional community. You will support our organic growth objectives by maximizing marketing strategy and content in synergy with Choreo brand messaging and thought leadership across multiple platforms to drive engagement, lead generation, education, and retention. A deep understanding of financial advisors, the CPA and tax professional industry, as well as expertise in influencer (COI) and referral marketing is ideal. 

The CPA Channel Marketing Manager will report to the SVP Advisor Growth Marketing and work closely with other Marketing team members, various lines of business leaders and stakeholders across the organization to help deliver advisor and client experiences that achieve desired business growth outcomes. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with other Advisor Growth Marketing teammates, Digital Marketing and the Advisory Services team, strategize and execute end-to-end marketing strategies that materially cement and grow brand awareness as well as referral opportunities in support of Choreo advisors and their growth efforts.
  • Support the strategy behind CPA partner program value and benefits, as well as maximizing CPA partner engagement
  • Own CPA Partner resources website (for external partners) as well as all internal frameworks for organizing and updating partner content
  • Write emails, campaigns, social posts, and presentation decks as needed
  • Collaborate with Advisor Growth Marketing teammates in development of individual and/or regional CPA-focused marketing plans for advisors  
  • Support awareness and assist expansion of CPE program in development
  • Deploy editorial calendars that support national and regional campaigns, spanning insights, trends, proprietary research, reports, case studies, etc., for use with CPAs and CPA partners  
  • Leverage performance metrics to understand what content resonates, by topic/theme, message, channel, and format and use learnings to inform future campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple Marketing teammates to leverage website and social media channels to build audience and attract prospects.  
  • Effectively communicate the impact of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders.
  • Track and report on real-time performance metrics.
  • Understand data implications and extract relevant, actionable insights using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of Choreo’s business objectives to help achieve organic and inorganic business growth goals. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experiencemarketing in financial services, with strong emphasis on driving advisor partnerships with the tax, legal and professional services community
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations germane to the CPA industry (understanding of licensing requirements, how the 7216 works, etc.)
  • 2+ years of B2B2C campaign development and demonstrated growth marketing success.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with technical and creative teams, as well as with various lines of business leaders, to define requirements and execute strategies.
  • Proven track record of building strategic consensus among stakeholders that results in measurable growth outcomes.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent research capabilities; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of special projects. 
  • Able to operate with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations governing marketing and advertising in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Power BI and Salentica CRM Environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field preferred
