Responsibilities:Source and develop acquisition opportunities by building relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and potential targets.
Conduct market and competitive research to assess industry trends and identify strategic fit.
Maintain and continuously extend comprehensive target screening lists; support structured strategic target screening projects.
Drive initial discussions with target companies and assess cultural and operational alignment.
Lead and manage multi-workstream due diligence projects across financial, legal, and operational dimensions.
Build valuation models and prepare business cases for acquisition decisions.
Support negotiations, assist with deal structuring, and contribute to strategic planning.
Design integration plans and lead cross-functional teams to implement them across business functions such as Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
Deliver clear, decision-ready investment materials to executive leadership and boards.
Work in close collaboration with legal, strategy, procurement, HSE, and operational teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Track integration progress and ensure synergies and performance goals are achieved.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in corporate M&A roles, corporate strategy, investment banking, M&A strategy consulting, or transaction services.
Experience with designing post-merger integration concepts is required.
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation techniques.
Experience in the chemical or manufacturing sectors is required.
CFA or PMP certifications are a plus.
