The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
The Contracts Manager is a member of the Contracts Team within the RTX Contract Vehicle Center (CVC). The CVC resides within Corporate Legal, Contracts & Compliance (LCC) and manages 60+ contract vehicles at the enterprise supporting all RTX Business Units (BUs) in utilizing them for fast contracting. The contract vehicles include USG IDIQs, GSA Schedules, consortium OTAs, and international Master Terms Agreements (MTA), both as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor. The team works in a highly dynamic environment and this position provides an exciting opportunity for an individual to experience various types of domestic and FMS contracts developing front end of the business capture, strategy, and expand their knowledge of RTX products and programs while also growing their experience and professional network across the enterprise.
What You Will Do
Management and administration of a diverse portfolio of contract vehicles for the RTX CVC and will be responsible for establishing trusted and purposeful relationships with internal/external business partners and customers while ensuring successful governance with company policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities will include participation in front-end discussions of new business pursuits, opportunity assessment, competitive and sole source capture, and proposal strategy in support of developing Task Order proposals for award under CVC-managed contract vehicles.
The selected candidate will provide strategic thought leadership to develop innovative contracting solutions within a dynamic acquisition environment, develop and implement competitive growth strategies and objectives, and advise business management of contractual rights and obligations to mitigate contractual/program risks to achieve program and business objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have
8+ years of applicable work experience in contract capture, proposal development, and execution phases
Experience with IDIQ Contracts and most contract types (i.e. fixed price, cost, incentive, T&M, etc)
Experience with the FAR
Experience with USG contracting, including competitive and sole source USG proposals and negotiations, and a working knowledge of USG acquisition process.
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions as well as developing and offering innovative solutions to unusual and complex contracting issues
Experience researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and formulating recommendations to business leadership
Highly motivated and organized; customer-focused; strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal oversight, and create quality work products to meet timelines with limited guidance while working within a geographically dispersed team
Aerospace and Defense industry experience and/or experience in companies that bring familiarity of OTAs – managing, process, using
Demonstrated understanding of USG acquisition policy and process
Working knowledge of contract finance and proposal pricing procedures
Familiarity with FMS, ITAR, and export licensing

Work Location
This position can be remote or onsite at any US RTX location.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
