We seek a results-driven and collaborative Manager to lead our team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Scrum Masters/Project Managers within the Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) function. This role will guide and mentor a team of professionals who are essential to defining requirements, facilitating agile delivery, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data and analytics, proven leadership capabilities, and experience in agile methodologies and project management to drive high-impact project outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Scrum Masters, fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture.
- Oversee the team in requirements gathering, documentation, and translation of business needs into technical deliverables across various data and BI initiatives.
- Ensure effective implementation of agile delivery practices and cross-team coordination.
- Serve as an escalation point for project issues, scope clarity, and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Drive process improvements and standardization of BA and Scrum Master practices across projects.
- Monitor team capacity and resource allocation to balance workload and prioritize high-value initiatives.
- Ensure continuous alignment with strategic business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Promote stakeholder engagement and serve as a trusted partner in solution delivery.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of BAs and Scrum Masters to build organizational capability.
We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:
Knowledge, skills, and other qualifications required:- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, agile project delivery, and/or data-focused project management, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Solid understanding of data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics ecosystems.
- Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Scrum teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in defining and standardizing BA and agile practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- A passion for mentoring and developing team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, CBAP) are a plus.
