What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Manager, Forecasting and Reporting to shape and support data-driven decision-making and deliver strategic insights for the Finance Organization. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical analytics skills with strong business judgment and a passion for turning data into strategic advantage.
As a key member of the CFO organization, this individual will operate at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy — translating complex datasets into actionable insights that drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial performance.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with business curiosity and operational awareness. This individual translates data into insights, supports planning processes with rigor and discipline, and helps leadership understand performance drivers to inform decision-making and resource allocation.

What will you do?
  • Forecasting, Modeling, and Reporting: Ownership of data-backed revenue forecasting models, modeling KPIs and user behavior, and regular reporting on business trends and outcomes.
  • Advanced Analytics and Insights: Perform in-depth analytical deep-dives to uncover actionable insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and conversion levers, enabling smarter and more informed decision-making.
  • Business Strategy: Partner with the CFO and business decision makers to shape and operationalize the company’s strategic roadmap, quantifying and accelerating impact on growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Performance Monitoring and Data Strategy Development: Work closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to design KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and implement our business intelligence roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders by transforming complex data into clear, compelling recommendations that drive high-impact decisions.
What will you NOT do?
  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.
Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements
  • 5–8 years in analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles, preferably within D2C or fast-paced, high-growth tech environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Technical skills: Expert SQL skills, preferably proficient in at least one additional language (e.g., Python, R) and with one or more BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau); advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities; strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Big Data Fluency: Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging big data technologies or platforms to derive insights at scale.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to link analytics to business outcomes, influence company performance, and support strategic decisions with data.
  • Communication: Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior and cross-functional audiences.
  • Bias for Action: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong prioritization skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and execution.
Benefits
  • Remote work with regular in-person bonding experiences sponsored by the company
  • Competitive compensation
  • Holistic perks program (including free therapy, employee wellness, and more)
  • Excellent health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution
  • The chance to build something that changes lives – and that people love
  • Any piece of hardware or software that will make you happy and productive
  • An awesome community of co-workers
